Nerreman Cottage
The truth is, I have super-talented clients.
They may not know it, but the spaces and stories they assemble via inanimate objects in their homes, gardens or workspaces are filled with love and personal insight that is inimitable. And my job is to ensure each photograph I take portrays that.
Meeting and working with Chris, the kind owner of this short-term stay was such an inspiring day. I loved hearing the serendipity of how she found this home and seeing her soul poured into each room with care.
Chris and I worked together on the day to pull many of the shots together. Though truly, not much work was needed, as while it is often entrusted to guests via short-term stay, this house is a second home to her.
Inside and out, there are many cosy chairs to sink into, nooks stacked with books to disappear into, and enough plates and glassware ready to host the whole family. This old farmhouse is one to bookmark.
