Hannah’s story

In my early 20s I would find myself wondering what beauty hid behind the walls of old houses or the deeper meaning behind someone’s craft. I was just winging it, and slowly found my voice capturing the stories of spaces and capturing people doing their ‘thing’.

That desire and curiosity was just the beginning of a decade-long journey in honing my craft in interior and lifestyle photography. A journey that has resulted in a style that is natural, instinctive and down-to-earth.

Nowadays, I work for some of Australia’s best interior designers, capture the most instagram-worthy boutique accommodation across the country and document unique Australian brands to tell the story of their handcrafted products.

When I am not on the road shooting dream jobs, you can find me at home in my garden or baking sourdough on Mount Glorious, Jinibara country, in South East Queensland.

My story is born out of a desire to find and document
everyday beauty

… but also curiosity.

in the everyday kind of way

What’s your story?

Finding or creating beauty in everyday moments is a value that is at the heart of all the stories I am invited to tell, and most likely, it is at the heart of yours too.

I photograph stories that are beautiful. Beautiful in that everyday kind of way. And when I think back to when I first held a camera in my hand at age 13, that is what I always looked for before pressing the shutter.
