The Coastal Studio, WA

When I last visited Western Australia in November 2024, I had the pleasure of styling and shooting with Narelle who is the founder of the Coastal Studio. She is a ceramicist who makes provincial-style, everyday pieces that reflect her own gentle nature and connection with the land around her.

Narelle is inspired by farmlife and the nearby coastline. We didn’t quite have enough time on this day to get down to the shore, however her own garden and studio was the perfect backdrop for our shoot as we pulled together some inspired table scenes with her wares as well as other lifestyle imagery at home.
