This month for my collab with Beatrice, we chose Strawberries as our subject. They are in season in Brisbane right now, and gee I love it when you can buy bulk strawbs' for cheap!
I had a hard time thinking about what to make, but with a little convincing from a friend, I settled on Strawberry crumble. I love making crumble as it is so easy.. and this was even easier than apple crumble!

Strawberry Crumble Recipe
Serves four, you can do this in individual serves or in one dish.
A load of fresh Strawberries, hulled, halved and quartered.
120g butter, softened
120g plain flour
120g Brown sugar
Optional - flaked almonds could be nice!
Throw Strawberries, halved or quartered into the dish.
Mix rest of the ingredients together. Using your fingers to rub in butter, or use your food processor for ease, but more washing up.
Use the mixture to top the strawberry dish.
Pop in moderate oven until it smells divine, and red is oozing between the crunchy golden crumble!
Eat with custard, ice cream or cream. Or by itself because you just can't wait to dig in.
